Terms of Service

Last updated · May 18, 2026

1. The Agreement

By using BandPass ("we," "us") to buy or sell tickets, you agree to these terms. We're the marketplace; the venue is the merchant of record for every ticket sold through us.

2. Buyer Protections

If a show is cancelled, you are entitled to a full refund of the ticket's face value plus any service fee, returned to your original payment method through our payment processor. Tickets are otherwise non-refundable except as required by law. We do not permit ticket resale above face value on our platform — if you can't make it, list at face value; when it sells, the new buyer pays that price (never above face) and the seller receives platform credit for it, minus our resale fee.

3. Fees

There are currently no booking fees: buyers pay the ticket's face value with nothing added. If we introduce a buyer fee later, it will be a small, flat amount shown in full before you pay, never a surprise at the last screen, and a fraction of the legacy 25-30% markup. No surge pricing, no dynamic markups. Venues pay nothing. Artists pay nothing.

4. Payouts

Venues and artists are paid via "door-close payouts" — funds release the moment the show ends, not 30 days later. Available payout options include standard ACH (free) and instant debit (1.5%), processed through Stripe. Additional payout methods, including crypto and Cash App / Venmo, are planned.

5. Anti-Bot

We use automated bot detection, rate limiting, and per-buyer purchase limits to keep tickets in the hands of real fans. Accounts found to be circumventing these protections will be terminated and tickets cancelled with no refund.

6. Data Ownership

Your data is yours. You can export everything we have about you in machine-readable formats at any time from My Data, and revoke access or delete your account permanently.

This is a draft. Production terms will be reviewed by counsel before launch.
