FAQ

If it is free, how does BandPass make money?

We do not charge anyone to use BandPass — we are focused on getting venues, artists, and fans on board. Over time we may add a small, transparent buyer fee, far below the legacy 25-30%, and build paid tools and market insights on top. Any fee is shown upfront.

Are there hidden fees we should know about?

No. The buyer fee is shown on the event page, in the cart, and on the receipt. Venues and artists never see a separate platform charge — their payout is the gross sales minus the buyer fees that are already disclosed to the buyer.

What if I want next-day money, not "the moment doors close"?

Standard ACH (free) lands in 1-2 business days. Next-day ACH (also free) lands tomorrow morning. Use those instead of instant if you don't need the cash that night.

What about chargebacks and disputes?

Stripe handles dispute mechanics. We absorb the per-dispute fee on the platform side. For genuine fraud cases we don't claw back from your future payouts — we eat it. This is why we cap acquiring volume per venue until you have a track record.

How do you make money on free tiers for venues and artists?

The buyer fee is the only revenue source on ticket sales. Opted-in fans can also share in the upside of the fan program. That's it. No selling lists, no upsell tiers.
